"Neat Sweeps Ltd will retain information for the purposes of the business, for example HMRC inspection. The company operates a ’privacy by default and design’ approach to all its working practices to ensure that we adhere to GDPR principles. We do NOT share information with anyone else, unless we have consent. For example, passing details to another stove installer or chimney specialist. The only other exceptions to this are for Building Control notification for stove installations and issue of Warning Notices in the event of an installation being declared unsafe. For stove installations, details are passed to HETAS and later to local Building Control for the purpose of issuing paperwork that demonstrates compliance with Building Regulations. For Warning Notices, a copy of this document is sent to the National Association of Chimney Sweeps, for oversight purposes and establishing trends. The personal data we hold is what you would expect; name, address, and contact details. Non-personal data held relates to what you have installed and any information pertinent to its maintenance. Our lawful basis for processing your data is Consent, Contract and Legitimate Interest".
